Bug Problem with navbar menu and vBAdvanced links menu

Hi,
we use on our site vBDownload and vBAdvanced Links directory.

When we go to the vBAdvanced Directory, we have a problem with the menu in navbar :

The menu is the menu from vBDownload, when i disable vBDownload all working good.
Any idea to fix this problem ?
The coder of vBAdvanced Links Directory said the problem come from vBDownload.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new AdminCP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues. It should ideally be a temporary account created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

I'm not sure what's causing it as it works fine everywhere but with vba links. I'm working on getting the navigation moved into the vB Nav manager which should fix the problem. I'll release a bugfix version as soon as I'm sure it's working ok. Hopefully later on today sometime.

I just released 1.3.8 which uses the navigation manager instead of the other process for the navbar. This should fix your incompatibility problem with vba links.

just installed the new version :
The menu disapear when you are on the CMS.
Now the problem with vBAdvanced is solved BUT we have the same problem with vBQuizz lite.

If you change the hook it fires on, it will fix the CMS problem

ACP->Plugins & Products->Plugin Manager

Go down to the downloads section and Find the one called
4.2 Navigation Permission

Edit it and change the Hook Location field to be global_bootstrap_init_complete

I'll have to work on the quiz one, it will take me a bit to do

Any chance you could fix the problem with the quizz ?
Because we had bought the vBNavTab mod here and we have lot of problem who are (i think) due to the vBQuizz problem.

You could see the second navbar and before the vBQuizz menu a blank tab ???
When you visit vBAdvanced section, the Quizz menu is highlighted without any reason.
Please, take the time to fix this problem, we have thsi problem since one month...

Hi, thank you.
After installed the new version we have two button on the menu :
Portail Soudeurs.com - Site Technique francophone de référence du soudeur
First created by the first isntallation of vBquizz and named : Quiz
The second created by the update 1.2.5
How can i remove correctly the first ? It isn't present in the navigation manager.

Uncheck the Navigation Button 4.2 one under the vBQuiz section
