Private Message Manager - Usergroup Perms

I was wondering if there was any chance that a mod could be made that would give more control over the pm system on vbulletin. Basically what I was after was a way to restrict/control members pm privileges via a usergroup setting. For instance, a member that is in a restricted usergroup would only be able to pm staff members with their question/queries or indeed reply to any questions that a staff member may ask them.

Just wondering if this is at all possible or if anyone else has any alternative suggestions as to how this could be accomplished.

I'll tag Fillip H. again to see if this is technically possible. It's a rather small mod idea though so i'd suggest putting it on vB.orgs free mods request forum - it's likely too small for us to take on.
