....dammit. why cant vbulletin consistently adhere to its own APIs? getting tired of chasing down all the special cases where vb ignores the bbcode parser
...actually, i just checked locally all of the test posts i did for that, and it is correctly replacing them with (Purchasable Content) in the cms sidebar for recent posts. can you get some screenshots of where its not working?
Well, mine looks exactly like that except it says Recent Forum Posts instead of New Forum Posts. I looked through the available widgets and there was nothing else besides that one that would indicate we are running different things.
What version of the CMS? Can you flush the CMS cache and reload the homepage to see if that fixes it?
okay, confirmed the forum block doesnt clean the preview, and the cms block doesnt clean the title and i did a quick search, and theres no quick and easy way to fix this, so ill have to find a creative/not very optimized solution >.<
We will just have to be sure our preview length and pretext for charged content jive to keep it out of preview.
I would rather VB make it were all (Non displayable) code was stripped from display in the widgets nobody wants to see aBB code a link or smile codes in the preview.
