Bug Password Protection

Hi,

The password function actually doesn´t work for me. I´ve seen someone asking for it in february >here<. I´ve bought the pro-version mainly to set passwords for downloads.
After setting up the password the download is still accessible by every user who´s allowed to see the category. Same effect if i set it to be private and only accessible for a certain user.

Is there any progress on this problem? I'm waiting desperately for this function to work.

I'm having problems getting it to work with the flash uploader, I got it working without it. Sorry it's taken a bit, not my original code so I'm trying to fight through unfamiliar territory

I just posted a new release that should fix this. I installed it on here and it's working as planned. Let me know if this release fixes it.

Sorry for my late answer ;( I´ve tested it now in several combinations:

• Flash uploader + password - works
• Flash uploader + private user(s) - works
• Flash uploader + password + private user(s) - private user setting overrides/unsets the password setting - I guess it´s supposed to do that
• Normal uploader + password - works
• Normal uploader + private user(s) - works
• Normal uploader + password + private user(s) - same as above
• Editing file and changing password works
• Editing file and private user(s) works

So everything according the password setting works fine. Great work! Another problem I stumbled upon: the flash uploader seems to bypass the moderation setting. Uploading with the normal uploader works - the file has to be moderated.
