You said your forums were running slow, have you tried leaving vBO disabled for a significant amount of time and then asked users (without telling them what you did) whether it feels faster or slower for them?

Also, since you seem to be running a CDN on both tests, have you disabled the CDN feature in vBO? Having it enabled may cause double CDN-ing which could be related.

Beyond that I'm not really sure if anything can be done, you're the first person ever to report vBO slowing down their forums...

After that I disabled vB Optimise Pro 3.0.0 and left it off for 10 minutes.

About the CDN thing, I am not sure. I totally disabled VBO, and it has been disabled for nearly 24 hours now. MY server load is now 2.40 2.61 2.78 | 727 Users Online (119 members and 608 guests)
Which it has not been that low for some time. Speed Test seems to think my server is faster having VBO disabled.

My members are saying the site feels about the same or a little slower tho. But I have no cache running now, so I am going to try and get xcache installed on the server again.

There is an increase on the server and the amount of time it takes for the page to start rendering tho with VBO activated.

The only thing I can suggest is try playing with vBO's different settings - i.e. turn it back on, but disable everything (CDN, cache, all the different "cache x" settings) and see if the same result still occurs.

If it does not, then try turning the settings back on one by one starting with Cache and monitor page load times after each setting is turned on.
