I've installed the mod (hopefully correctly) but some of the options are giving me "Invalid Action".

Checking through vbsecurity.php, I'm guessing it's trying to find certain files in "actions/admin/" but can't. As a matter of fact, some of the files such as vboptions.php, usergroup.php, and few others appear to be missing from that folder. I've downloaded 1.0.3 and saw that they didn't have those files either.

Is this is a matter of files being missing from the package or was this intended and is actually supposed to pull files from somewhere else through some magical php wizardry?

Either way, the mod is giving an "Invalid Action".

Help would be appreciated!

The following files should exist on your server:

/dbtech/vbsecurity/actions/admin:
adminstrikes.php
changelog.php
options.php
repaircache.php
security.php

/dbtech/vbsecurity_pro/actions/admin:
snapshot.php

Yea, those definitely exist. I'm a super admin too, so I don't think that's an issue. I'm not quite sure what's wrong :(

I suppose to be more specific, everything works except for the following options:

Security Settings: vBOptions
Security Settings: Usergroups
Security Settings: Admins
Security Watchers: General
Security Watchers: Logins
Security Watchers: vBOptions
Security Watchers: User Data
Security Watchers: Usergroup
Security Watchers: Permissions

/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=recommendations (This one leads to Security Recommendations that I forgot to mention above that doesn't work either)
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=settingscategory=vboptions
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=settingscategory=usergroups
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=settingscategory=admins
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=watcherscategory=general
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=watcherscategory=logins
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=watcherscategory=vboptions
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=watcherscategory=userdata
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=watcherscategory=usergroup
/vbsecurity.php?do=securityaction=watcherscategory=permissions

It looks like your /includes/xml/cpnav_dbtech_vbsecurity.xml (and its Pro equivalent) are damaged on your site.

Could you please try re-uploading them from the 1.0.4 zip?

There should be an ampersand between security and action, which isn't showing up for you apparently.

The XML was fine. Just something was causing & to disappear from the URL. Maybe vbseo or server configurations. Either case, I changed it to & #38 ; instead which has fixed it.

Thanks!

I see, maybe I should change that in the XML file itself then... Thanks for letting me know the solution :D
