Bug Whole Link Showing Forum Runner?

Using Forum Runner App on an Ipad or Phone......for a Key Word...the whole LINK to the word shows......not just a word...that is linked.

How do I fix this?

Is this just how it works?

Almost all of my users surf my site on an iPad....and they all use Forum Runner.....what should I do?

This is what it looks like on an IPad:

Apparently that is an unintended byproduct of the new advertising keywords that <a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 4" title="Kirk Voclain"><a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 4" title="Kirk Voclain"><a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 4" title="Kirk Voclain">Kirk</a></a></a> is testing. In Diana's case the word "<a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 13" title="SYNC Seniors">seminar</a>" automatically created a link to a <a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 11" title="SYNC Seniors"><a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 11" title="SYNC Seniors">SYNC</a></a> <a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 15" title="SYNC seniors"><a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 15" title="SYNC seniors">marketing</a></a> page. And, as you'll see, the words I just used -- <a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 11" title="SYNC Seniors"><a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 11" title="SYNC Seniors">SYNC</a></a> and <a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 15" title="SYNC seniors"><a href="http://www.pro4um.com/4um/forumads.php?do=out&contenttype=keyword&contentid= 15" title="SYNC seniors">marketing</a></a> -- will also have a link created. It appears to be NOT showing up on Forum Runner.....the words do not show up as LINKS...they just show up as words.....from within the app.

The words do appear to be linking properly within the normal Computer skins.

That's intended, it seems that Forum Runner can't handle HTML in posts correctly. The only solution is to disable it within Forum Runner entirely.

As info.....I noticed that the TAGGING MOD that puts the [ mention ] [ / mention ] blocks are showing in Forum Runner....and the person's ID not there name......

This may be something you want to fix in another update so it and Forum Ads do not put that in Forum Runner.

What I mean is that now on my site....

Under the "MENTIONS" tab it looks like this:

I ADDED a space after the [ so it would show up here the way it looks on my forum...but without the space!!!


Notice the the brackets show up...[post] and [/post] but it does not link the post any more.

ALSO......

Under the "Thread Tags", "Quotes", and "User Wall" tabs....I'm getting the same thing.

That can happen if you have turned off BBCode in non-forum areas via vBulletin Options (a default vBulletin feature)
