Okay, had vbshop pro 1.2.3 running with vbcredits deluxe lite 2.0.0 and it worked fine. Now decided to completely clean out the old shop and uninstalled it as I wanted to start over with a fresh start.

Now have installed vbshop pro 2.0.0 beta and cannot figure out what is needed to be done to get it to work with vbcredits deluxe lite. After installing the product everything shows but the wallet has no amounts showing, and the bank settings are at 0. I believe we changed the name of the vbcredits from points to stars and it should still be the default currency, but no matter what I have tried I cant seem to get vbshop to pick up the star amounts from vbcredits.

Even before creating stores and items should not the curency amounts show first? Maybe I am missing or overlooking a setting but so far no go getting the two to work.

What are the steps to get a new install of vbshop to work with an all ready installed vbcredits deluxe lite?

Hope this makes sense.

Have done that but maybe not right.

In vbcredits under currencies we have one - stars, description = Classic vBCredits points field, table = user, column = credits

Now in vbshop we have one currency - stars, description = Classic vBCredits points field,
table = user,
column = credits.
active = yes
can bank and steal = yes
theft protection = -1
interest = 0
posts = 0
threads = 0

Also in vbshop > settings > enable points accumulation = no.

It just doesn't seem to be grabbing the full star amounts from vbcredits.

What I meant from that is I have 2002 stars in vbcredits, when vbshop is installed it shows 0 amount in wallet and 0 stars in the bank.

The bank won't show anything from vBCredits.

It'll work if the currency fields are filled out correctly, we're using vBCredits integration just fine here on DBTech :)

Sorry, after posting that I relealized that the bank won't show any amount as nothing has been moved to it, but the wallet should show the amount of stars that you have in vbcredits. Gonna go play and remove vbshop pro 2.0.0 completely and go back to the vbshop 1.2.3 where it was working right at that time, and then try the upgrade again and see how it goes.

I doubt that will solve anything, but you could try I s'pose...

Was adding a dot to the end of the column = credits. intended? If it's included in the config then that could be the reason.

The dot at the end of credits was a typo in the above post, not enough coffee!

Well redid vbshop pro 1.2.3 and as soon as the product was run the wallet showed the proper amount of stars, double checked the settings vbshop> point settings for the column and table that was used and they were table - user and column - credits.

Now ran the upgrade again to vbshop pro 2.0.0 and back to where nothing shows for the wallet amount. Double checked the currency manager and user and credits are entered. Only thing that shows the proper amount of stars is the postbit display, so at this point I am stumped.

Okay, feeling really stupid right now. Its working fine with the wallet amounts showing, etc.

Last thing I checked which I should have checked earlier, checked the templates and my dbtech_vbshop template was in red, reverted it though I dont ever remember that I edited it, but this was the problem.
