Suggestion For A New Product

Well you guys make some cool stuff and one thing that is annoying to me and others, is when someone makes multiple accounts

This is a suggestion tell me what you guys think!
You guys should make a plug in were it detects a user trying to make multiple accounts.
Maybe some how prevent them from registering, or have an automatic thread be made, when it detects someone.
Maybe catch them by Cookie or IP.

I know I would pay for something like this

I do believe there is a mod on vb.org with this functionality already, I think it is called the multi account prevention hack or something similar.

I like the idea, but we're too busy to do it any time soon really

That is for vB3.

It was called AE Detector and works well on VB4.

I do have that mod installed on vb 4.1.2 but it really sucks. It gives false reports all the time.

I use: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=199077 on my vB4 site. Works pretty good. There really needs to be an updated version, but overall, it works well for my purposes. Never used the other one mentioned.
