Question How do I include the forum that the new posts are in? Or at least the prefix?

We have a forum where there are the same topics reoccurring in different sections for the different groups of people. We need a way to make it known which section it is coming from, so at least being able to include the prefix would help a lot.

Otherwise, people see the update on the new post and reply in a section that’s not meant for them.

I think the infopanels product you guys have is great, but I had to take it off because it didn’t have the forums

Why not something simple like this?

You guys have plenty of room on the info panels to include [prefixes] and/or forum. That’s the only thing left that I can think of that the info panels really need.

Compared to our Top X Stats, that display is highly cluttered

Also, we design all our products to function at least tolerably on 1024x768 - such a huge display would nowhere near look good on such a resolution

That’s how it looks at 1024x768. It is a lil cluttered, but several members have expressed how much they like knowing what forum the post is coming from and feel like their threads aren’t being bombarded by the wrong people.

Even with this forum, I see all these “helps and updates” but I dont’ know what forum they’re in. And I’d like to stay updated on any issues, but I don’t want to click in the light support section or a whole different forum modification area altogether.

There won't be until we revamp the layout to make it more narrow-skin friendly. We do have Forum now, though

The forum in which the thread was posted in replaced the thread views column, which helps with determining where the thread was posted
