Hi guys,

I have uploaded all the files etc & can see DB stuff in my Settings>options.

But I have nothing in the Main AdmincP to access those settings ??

For example: user group options

i am some what a noob with vB but im a fast learner

Running Lite until I know my board will be happy with it.

Regards Luke

sorry mate noob here ...

Do I download the config.php from FTP alter it then re up-load ??

What chain of text am I looking for ??

$config['SpecialUsers']['undeletableusers'] = '';

Your user ID needs to be placed in between the ' '

Actually try adding it to this line, placed in between the ' '
Make sure it is your ID not your username.

$config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '';

if you are using a ftp client you just edit that file and re upload or save it ....like Ozzy and Fillip H. have stated you need to put id in that you get from forum best way to do that is what ever user you are using just go to your member profile and look in your browser field and just put that number in where Ozzy and Fillip H. said to in their posts and you should be good to go

Your user id is the number assigned to you, if you set up the site and installed vbulletin yourself then it is 1, you can also hover over your username to see the value.

So it will be -

$config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '4';

Can I just copy this line & change the numbers to suit my mods ?

ok so logged backed into the primary admin & it was all there ..

As I mentioned above I just need to copy that line done to add my admin account right ?

Yeah where it says 4 if that is not your ID number, you can add yours to it by separating the ID's by commas like so 1,4,8,16

Ok found the issue, even when I had put the extra ID's in, you still need to go back into Usergroups /Administrator Permissions and select YES to allow to administer DbTech products, regardless of the powers they hold.

It should not be like that, any user in the superadmin in config should be able to see all the menus in the side panel of the acp.

(Pro) Auto-Collapse vBActivity Stats
(Pro) Auto-Collapse vBActivity Bars

That is a pro only option to be able to collapse those, for future reference, please start a new thread for un related questions to the original post, it lets the dev know there is a new question / issue.
