After I upgraded my forum to vb4 everyone lost all their gifts etc. Which is understandable for I had to re-install the whole mod. But what is disturbing is that everyone lost their points also. (Or their money.) It seems to have taken the amount of money we had on vb3 and that is all everyone has now also.

Is there a way for me to reset everything. Recalculate and restore all points?

Thanks!

Vbshop points are not meant to replace a points mod like vbcredits so there's no recalc feature.

You know what? I have only had nothing from you guys recently! Do you care that much about paying members? I have almost bought all your products. But I only get these....no that, and no this, answers. I know that there must be ways to do some of these, for I am not that stupid you know! I am really getting tired of this kind of support.

So even vbactivities points cannot be reset??

vBActivity does indeed have a reset points functionality, I believe it's found in the Maintenance page under the vBActivity admincp menu group :)

I will never buy anything from this company again. Do you feel all big and mighty giving me a sarcastic answer like that?? Let me teach you something mate. You have only one name in this life. And this name precedes you all your life. And you are throwing this companies/forum's away.

Not everyone in life is a coder. Not everyone in life knows everything about computers like you do.

Thank you.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I'm sorry if it came across that way. It really is there, in the vBActivity maintenance menu. I thought you were using vBShop's own points system when you posted the original question, that's why I said there's no way to reset vBShop's points.

The reason why vBShop's points system is basic is not only because we also have both vBActivity and vBCredits II as points addons (though I would of course recommend vBCredits II) - if we were to make a full-featured points addon inside vBShop as well, we'd not only be competing with ourselves but we'd also spend a lot of time developing it only to never get it as good as vBCredits II is.

Hope that clarifies it for you, and again I apologise if I sounded sarcastic - I was in no way, shape or form trying to be :)
