today i was reading a thread...where the author set the next config:

allow to see content, if user press thanks...

but he had disabled thanks button...so there was no way to see the content..

this must be improved...make for example this structure:
Users can see the content if: (this text is on the editor)

• They give Thanks
• They press "I like it"

so..if user press first option, button thanks is enabled automatically, the same for i like it

i think only admins must decide which forums needs to press a button or not...and not to be a user decision

It's a per-usergroup permission to be able to disable thanks. Please click the "Permissions" link underneath the Post Thanks admincp nav menu group to set the permissions to only allow Admins to disable thanks.

Sounds more like user error than a program error. I mean... Umm.. yeah. =)

Fillip H. gave you a solution to your issue =)

You can configure it so that users cannot disable the thanks button - in this way, any hidden post will be thankable =)

Equally you should be able to turn off the hide setting for those users - so even if they can turn thanks off, they cannot hide post contents.

ok..but what about the editor idea?

this must be improved...make for example this structure:

nowadays, as admin, i have 6 options of this mod on the editor window, is so difficult to find which option are you looking for... please separate "Users can see the content if" and "I want to allow...(thanks, likes)"
