Question What would cause automatic updates not to work?

I can't seem to get auto updates working, manual updates are working, but it will not for some reason update automatically.

yet its never updating

It may be that the frequency is too high. Try resetting it to 5 seconds and see if that helps.

Nope, same thing. I could maybe try increasing the timeout, but it's already at 500

ah, after staring at the page, it seems the page jerks when a comment comes in, but the comment does not show.
