Legacy Trophies in postbit

Trophies in postbit..I'd like to see them as a scroller or something javarish showing your latest trophies..For me it's just to bland at the moment and not meeting the high standards of the arcade..

also, i deliberately stay away from the scrolling stuff, because i dont like it.

if you have some ideas on it feel free to elaborate, one of my goals was to handle when someone has tons trophies - which happens a lot.

Holding 128 trophies at the minute.You don't like scrollers! Then make it a simple hover over on a cup like they do on v3 arcade..The thread is a suggestion!

You could do a pop-out window that would show all...? In the postbit, show like the 5 most recent awards, and then have an arrow that when clicked, would show a pop-out window displaying the rest.

I guess you understand the word javarish....Again the post was intended to improve the postbit.But I guess touching postbit were the arcade is concerned comes last on the list of dbt priorities,due to other mods taking postbit display.

I googled "javarish" and got nowhere with a definition, though my spellcheck doesn't complain... if someone can enlighten me, wouldnt mind expanding my vocabulary...

Anyway, I am not saying I'm against modifying the postbit, but being the only person telling me to make a completed feature "different" without any direction won't help anyone get what they want. Also, I'm not out to just copy the other arcades; I get falsely accused of that enough already.

Is bszopi's idea what you want to get behind? Or by all means elaborate on something else thanks

The last thing I want to see is 128 trophies in a post bit never mind scrolling, that was ibP days.

I like the idea of bszopi utilizing vbulletin popup menu like it does for inserting images and videos.

Maybe in postbit : Arcade Trophies Held: 128

Click the '128' will show a pop up of all trophies held in category clusters, a bit like your own personal hall of fame!

You created a paid arcade mod for vb..What did you expect? I'm supporting your arcade in more ways than one, believe me.

You requested in the tournament thread to take ideas to make it the best tourney script...This thread is to ensure your arcade's success..Postbit is were it happens.It's the first place a guest or anyone see's when visiting a post..

skol - I just want to confirm, but did you know vbarcade already can display trophies in postbit? I only ask, because you seem to allude to that, and when i looked at your site, you have them disabled. Set the Maximum Postbit Trophies setting to something nonzero. On dbtech here, my znax trophy is shown

Yes I did,but the problem is when they are enabled.They only display in 2 columns as below..If I could get them to display in say 5 columns,my postbit would look better.

That is because your postbit width is comically low. It looks like it is around 80px.

Visit the Style Variable Editor for your style, and edit the postbitlegacy_userinfo_width variable to something at least 130px - but play around with it until you like the number of columns it results in.

Your current width is also causing the Credits: 123 stuff to wrap awkwardly as well.

Thanks for that, postbitlegacy_userinfo_width was set to 200px. I'm not sure where you got 80px from as the avatar is wider than that..But a little editing in postbit.css sorted it ..
