Bug Shoutbox tab doesn't blink

Hi
we have received many complaint from the users that the shoutbox tab is not blinking when someone chatting in shoutbox private room and someone sends them pm shoutbox. Or if a user is chatting in one room, he/she cannot see the other room tab blinking.
Please help.

we have only customized skin. Isn't it possible with it. sometime it blinks and sometime not.
Before moving to current server, the tabs were blinking fine. Blink stopped working since last march. and we are using the same custom skin for last 2 years.

You can create a default skin by simply creating a new skin with no parent style
