Recalc of achievements failed

So this is less of a bug than a design problem I think, as it technically works, just doesn't finish.

Anyway, I went to recalc all of the achievements and the recalc died due to script execution time (more than 30 seconds).

I think we need some sort of refresh every say 10 achievements or something. Right now, since all of mine were cleared out and the reprocess didn't finish, I'm sure there are a lot of achievements people are now missing.

Ok, so I just set this to 250.. even that was too slow and then it just stopped at 112. No errors, etc..

So I set it at 25, and it's working, but it's just REALLY slow. About 1 second per user. Seems almost like it gets slower as it goes on too. Could just be my host, but something doesn't feel right.

How many users do you have in total?
How many Achievements did you add?

I'll probably be able to test it on this forum, since our member count is rising steadily, but would be relevant to know this still

I only have the achievements that I imported from your achievement release XML file.

I was able to get it to recalc setting it to 20 members per cycle though, so at least it completed now. =)

Is it possible for you to turn on the Slow Query Log in MySQL? This tells you how to do it, if you didn't know already.
Before I go duplicating the DBTech DB and all the hassle that involves, let's just see if it's me sucking at MySQL again

I'm on a shared host, it's currently turned off and I can't turn it on. I'll see if I can have them turn it on though.
