more of a question what does this do Project Tools

Project Tools is a mod released by the vbulletin team intended to be used for mod authors to allow users to track the progress and report bugs etc. We no longer use it as we have replaced it with our own bespoke vBSupport system (this is the form you filled in when posting this thread, among other things).

I moved this as it's not really a vBShout support question per-se, but more of a general question other people may have =)

It's not used by DBT, but it *IS* used by others (such as myself) and that's why the options are there. To support those that do have/use PT. It's no different than any other features really, some people use some, others they don't. That's the point behind options, they are optional.

If you turn it on, you won't see anything. All it is is a notice in the shoutbox of when a new incident is created, updated, etc. As you don't have PT installed, it wouldn't do anything. If you want to learn more about PT, check out this link: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=256
