Legacy Post-count-dependency

Hey again


sorry to keep popping up today - but i have a feature request..

The former thanks/groan feature i had installed had a nice little detail - a post-count_dependency

that means that in my forum, no one can like or thank before having made 50 relevant, approved posts...

cant you PLEASE make that feature - its really nice cause newbies learn how to behave before they start agreeing with everybody on everything... very very bad habit that makes them look unserious before they have even said anything

is that a possibility ? it would be greatly appreciated

You can already do that within vBulletin

Simply make your standard "Registered Users" account unable to use any buttons, then create a new usergroup that can, and then set up a Promotion within vBulletin (located within the Usergroups navigation menu group) that promotes someone to your Privileged Members group.

im aware i can do that within vb - it would just be a most sought after feature sine it would require more than 4 new groups in my forum to make sure everyone would get the feature... i already have a vast number of groups to account for various permissions..

it would be greatly appreciated..

We'll take it under consideration, but the main priority is new functionality that can't be replicated in any other way
