Hello,

I'm having a bizarre issue which occurs sporadically (once every 2-3 days). If a user who is not logged into a Facebook account visits my forum, they are redirected from the forum to a Facebook login page.

When this happens, the only way for me to fix this is to "Clear System Cache" from Maintenance in Admin CP.

Users who are already logged into their Facebook accounts don't face this problem at all. They are able to visit the forum without issue.

I checked the error log, and this error occurred when the redirect started:

CSRF state token does not match one provided.

Could vb optimise be connected with this issue?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have never heard of this issue before, not even from friends who work for vBulletin support (who will tell me if vBO or any other DBTech mod has caused a support issue), so it's unlikely that vBO is responsible.

To my knowledge vBO does not integrate into the Maintenance action you mention, it has its own cache flushing system.

That error message means that the security key (a randomly generated key that vBulletin uses to ensure a form was submitted from a valid source) was invalid - unfortunately I don't know anything more specific than that as I have never seen that specific wording before.

I suggest disabling vBO until it happens again, then report it to vBulletin support :)
