Hey guys

i can seem to get around this

Please enter the path to your downloads directory i have this in the box " downloads + i have tryed /htdocs/downloads still no go "

Error:
You did not enter a valid value for this setting.

and when i go and save it comes up with the is errors on the setting page

what am i missing here

You can find out the location you need to use for your downloads folder using this file: vBDownloads Path Checker

That will give you something like /home/user/public_html/ if you upload and run it from your public_html folder. Simply alter that to your downloads folder (must already be created) as such: /home/user/downloads/

Simply add this path to the "Path to Downloads" setting in your vBDownloads Manage Settings area.

You can also try and come up with the path from vB
ACP->Maintenance->View PHP Info

Scroll down to DOCUMENT_ROOT, it will show you the full path. Just alter it to lead to your downloads folder.
