In the what's new tab if I say go to a topic and read it then go back to the what's new tab its gone like it should or click mark forums read then it clears all posts in there as it should. But on my forums it does not do this. So my question is how do I make this work on my forum

I have changed a few things in the Navigation Manager but none seem to work like here if a admin could reply and tell me what they have done so i can copy it

We have not done anything special to make a What's New function work differently than stock vBulletin.

I'd suggest contacting vBulletin support if you're having problems with vBulletin

Yours go to search.php mine goes to activity.php so you have if u can tell me the settings so I can put mine the same

The tab is set up like so:

Title: What's New?

Target URL: search.php?{sessionurl}do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post

and what did u put for Show Permission Name
and what u put for Tab Script(s)
and i have the default whats new tab Identity = vbtab_whatsnew did you just edit the default one

Umm, it was set up as a new tab, there is no show permission, or scripts.

Identity = vbtab_whatsnew
Active = Yes
Product = Vbulltein
Title = What's New?
Target URL = search.php?{sessionurl}do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post
Target Menu = A sub-menu for this tab must be created before this option can be used. Create Menu ( strange showing this)
Display Order = 10
Show Permission Name = left blank
Append 'tabid' to UR = No
Tab Script(s) = left blank
Open in New Page = No

Or is it better to just make a new one like you done
