New users getting the error "We could not activate your account because this web address is not valid." After upgrade to 4.2.1 & 2.5.3

I just purchased the pro version on May 11th. I had lite running for almost a year.

Unsure if issue with vbOptimize pro settings or vBulletin. Suspect file versions do no show issue with vBulletin.

Any help would be appreciated.

That means the Activation ID in the email is wrong. I'm fairly certain that's unrelated to all those mods, but as a test you should try registering with them enabled, see if you get the same message.

If you do, try disabling them all and re-register. If you don't receive the error any more, re-enable them one-by-one until you do.

I've tried twice and I am not getting an error. Everyone else since upgrade to pro appears to have this issue. I am at a loss...

Try disabling the mod and then have them try again.
