Steal settings questions

There is an option in ACP which is this.

You can modify the default success rate of stealing here between 0-100%.
If you wish, this can be set to 0 and items can be created which raise a members chance.

Q1) If I create any steal item in the itemized shop will the figure in ACP become void?

Q2) If ACP setting is 0 and an item is available to buy will 0% be stolen unless bought ?

At the moment you can buy an item to increase steal to +15%

But have set a figure in ACP to 5%

Members are saying they are getting zero steal no matter how many times they have tried.

No, the items will modify the figure in the ACP.

I believe so, yeah.

20% is still a low chance, they could just be unlucky How many times did they try?

Quite a few times but they havent bought the add on.

So they are still grasping at the 5%.

I think I get this now. . lol. . If the ACP is 20% and the purchasable is 15% this will then make the new steal rate @ 35% ? Correct?

ACP sets the base rate - everyone has whatever %age in there in addition to any upgrades they purchase =)
