That's because it's hanging on recalculating posts, if you have a very large amount of posts it'll take a lot of time to re-calculate it. It's not a bug

So how to fix hanging out when Recalculating points? So this mod made for small site? Cannot use big site?

You need to either allow your PHP installation to use set_time_limit / ini_set (security configurations can prevent these from working) or boost the script timeout to a very high number (usually a bad idea).

Unfortunately I don't know exactly how to do this, since I've never had an issue with these functions not working

You should contact your host if you don't know either.

There's no such feature at this time. You can re-post it as a feature suggestion if you want to have it taken into consideration though
