Hi
I've added a couple of extra links on my sec. navbar and they are working fine on my PC in FF, Chrome and IE, however they are not working when I try to open them on my iPad - no matter what browser I try - Chrome, Safari & Dolphin tested so far.
Example: Nyt fra forlagene
Any solution would be appreciated :)

TBH I don't know why that would be, I don't have a ipad to test it either, maybe Fillip H. has one and knows what's up.

If your second navbar is the one with the genres like Fantasy, etc, then I have no problems accessing those links on my iPad in Safari or Chrome :)

Note that it is only the latest added tab (Nye bøger) and one that is restricted to a certain usergroup(Anmeldere) that doesn't work. I've tested this on my own iPad 2 and on an iPad 3 (Dolphin and Safari browsers), The other tabs (Fantasy,Ungdomsbøger,Gys,Krimi,Manga,Sjove,Pigebøger,Science Fiction, Tegneserier) is working fine.
Edit: tested on yet another iPad 2 (Safari) and it didn't work here either...!

I believe the problem is in your CSS - can you please confirm by creating a default (unmodified) skin and see if it works there?

Then it's a CSS / HTML issue :(

I think the mobile WebKit (which is what all browsers on the iPad use - it's disallowed by Apple to port other rendering engines to iOS) doesn't render your fancy (not sarcasm, I do genuinely like it :D) navbar.

Unfortunately that is beyond my knowledge to fix, CSS and I aren't talking on the best of days :p

That OK - I just wonder why only new added tabs are dysfunctional - the others are working on the same software and terms I guess?

My guess is the position of the tabs.

If you re-order the tabs so that the new tab is first, it works just like the old "first" tab, I take it?

In that case it's almost definitely a CSS issue. It is unfortunately quite beyond my CSS skills to find the problem :(

Maybe the-danzor has an idea, but if not / in the meantime, you could try contacting your skin developer and requesting assistance - it will undoubtedly be faster since they should already be intimately familiar with the skin :)

Alternatively, you could add a 3rd navbar and limit the number of items you add per tab so it doesn't reach this artificial "limit" that you've discovered.

If you can provide me with a screenshot of the problem or a picture i can provide a fix, by setting a width limit on the custom theme, which is required for mobile devices or by some other means.

Regards,
Scott
