Bug Internet Explorer users can't see conversations

Not sure this is actually a bug since IE is notoriously crappy, but my users who use IE cannot see anything in the shoutbox, they just get a Loading message and nothing ever loads. I'm guessing this is a javascript issue and wondering if you have a fix/workaround for it.

Can you try upgrading to v6.2.0 and see if that resolves it?

I'd give it a shot, but can't find version 6.2 for download

If you go to the product page here vBShout and click Download Lite Version, you'll see it as the default option

Except that's for vb 3-4, I'm running vb5 and 6.1.0a5 is the default option.

Oh, sorry I didn't notice you were talking about vB5 - I'm still not used to having to take that into consideration

I find these errors in IE's dev tools:
SEC7120: Origin <domain> not found in Access-Control-Allow-Origin header.
SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x80070005, Access is denied.

This doesn't appear if accessing your forum with www.


I've added a potential hotfix for this issue, if you re-download and re-upload the files (some other files also changed unrelated to this issue) and clear your cache, let me know if that works for you

Looks to be working. Both with and without the www. Man IE is a pain in the ass.
