Hi! Ozzy47

I got a question, I would like to have the "vbdownloads" tab on navbar 1 to be on navbar 2.

How do i change the "vbdownloads" tab on navbar 1 to appears on navbar 2?

Or to change any tab from navbar 1 to navbar 2?

Can i disable any navtab?

Thanks in advance
terc

To disable the original tab:

In the ACP left pane, go to Plugins & Products, click on that then double click on Plugin manager.

In the Plugin Manager, scroll through the products, till you see Product : DragonByte Tech: vBDownloads

Now under that look for the plugin Navbar Button / process_templates_complete and to the left of that untick the checkbox,

Now scroll to the bottom and click on Save Active Status

To add the new button:

ACP, left pane DBTech - vBNavTabs double click on Manage Tabs.

Then click on the button Add New Regular Tab.

Tab Name: What ever you want it to be called

Tab Varname: You can leave that blank

URL To Tab: vbdownloads.php

Path To Images: Leave blank, or add a image

Tab Mode: leave that set to This_Script

SET the THIS_SCRIPT value: downloads

Tab Target: leave set to _self

UserGroups Allowed To See TAB: Up to you

UserGroups NOT Allowed To See TAB: Up to you

Placement Of The Tab In The Navbar: Up to you

Display Order: Up to you

Tab Notes: Up to you

You should be able to disable any tab added by a product, it should have a setting to hide the tab, and if not ya disable the plug in for the tab.

Once you disable a tab you can recreate it with the mod, and have total control of where you want to put it.

Hi, Ozzy47
Thank you so much so your help, everyting worked out perfectly.:D

How do i disable the default "forum" tab from vbulletin, so i can create a customed Forum tab using vBNavTabs?

Thanks in advance for your help
terc

In DBTech - vBNavTabs / General Settings set the option, Is "Forum" tab hidden? to yes, then click on save. That will disable the default Forum Tab.

Make the new tab:

Tab Name: What ever you want it to be called

Tab Varname: You can leave that blank

URL To Tab: forum.php

Path To Images: Leave blank, or add a image

Tab Mode: leave that set to This_Script

SET the THIS_SCRIPT value: forum

Tab Target: leave set to _self

UserGroups Allowed To See TAB: Up to you

UserGroups NOT Allowed To See TAB: Up to you

Placement Of The Tab In The Navbar: Up to you

Display Order: Up to you

Tab Notes: Up to you

Edit: change SET the THIS_SCRIPT value: index to SET the THIS_SCRIPT value: forum
