Question Group Permissions - Can View, Can Send

Are there group permissions for vBMail in regards to the mailing list view?


Can View
Can Send

I am looking to set up some mailing list that only the members in that group can view and have access to when viewing the mailing lists.

Group leader Can Send and Can View
Group member Can View and Subscribe etc...

Did you look in the Mailing List manager? Once you click Edit on a mailing list, you'll see a form near the bottom with all available usergroup permissions

Okay I see it now to be honest I have not been using vBMail but am looking forward to using it. Testing.

Currently the user knows the mailing list exist. Looking to Hide mailing list.

That feature does indeed hide the list from the directory of mailing lists


PS: It's not needed to @ me in threads for my own mods. If I'm needed in a thread where I'm not listed as support agent however, that's the time to use them

The feature hides the list but it does not appear to hide the actual mailing list.

Edit: Never-mind it does indeed hide the mailing list too. Was looking at the wrong usergroup!
