Bug For some users it works, for some partially (only PMs), for some not at all

This is very strange. For me it works as it should (of course, there are some bugs, but you understand what I mean). But some users report they don't receive any notifications, some report that only PMs work for them. Some of them are moderators, even for my admin vBN doesn't work at all.

It may be related with problems with my server, maybe not, but it is strange. Couldn't tell why works for some completly, for some partially and for some not at all.

Even with latest version (1.0.2) some users (the same ones) say it doesn't work for them. I also turned vBSEO compatibility on.

People say they need to go to their profile to check notifications. Strange is, for some (for me for example) works.

Can you get a login of one of the users and check their setting to ensure they are set correctly?

If not you can look in phpmyadmin under the table user, click on the pencil icon for the user in question, and see what is in the boxes marked:

dbtech_notifs_on should be 1

dbtech_notifs_settings should look something like this:

I logged as some users who report that they have problems. They all have ok settings, they should receive notifications. I really don't know what is problem here, but I'm sure it looks like real nightmare to find out.

Ok then we know for sure that is not the issue, David will get to this as soon as he has a chance.

I'll also turn it on and off, trying new versions as they come.

And I'll suggest if this could be supplemental to original notification system, as old system works for all.

I waited to report, but now almost all users that complained it didn't worked for them now say it works. This looks like you nailed that bug down.
