Well I never got around to trying this test and the ticket was closed eventually. I kind of forgot about it for a while, even though some people were still complaining about it every now and then.
But today, someone forwarded me a notification for it. And then I checked their transaction log and the only Birthday activity type was from last year. So it sent them the notification about receiving the credits, but they never got them.
Does this help at all? Or should I still try the test suggested in my last ticket for this issue?
