Hi, we upgraded to 1.1.7 version and change the setting of vBulletin who use php mail by SMTP.
Since this upgrade and change we experiment a bug with the newsletter.
All mail are receivend like this :
HTML:

Problems :
- accentuate character badly showed
- With format of email who aren't showed correctly, we see the code...
Don't know if it's a holidays problem, but since 2 months now, we experiment a lot of problem like this with your product and the update...
Regards,
Olivier

Can you please try changing back from SMTP to php mail, then create a test mailing list and subscribe only yourself to it (set it so only admins can see the group, nobody default subscribed) then send a mail with your fancy characters in them?

If that's still an issue, can you please try sending a mail from within vBulletin itself (such as AdminCP -> Users -> Send Emails to Users (ensure the criteria only match yourself) and see if it works there?

If you still don't see special characters formatted correctly then it's not a bug in vBMail.

Let me know the result of your tests :)

after disabled UTF-8, it works.
Don't know why it causes an issue, perhaps SMTP ?
Regards,
Olivier

I think the utf-8 setting might be trying to double encode (apply utf-8 encoding twice). Glad you solved it :)
