Bug 1.4.0 b2- just empty space after installing... forum, ACP

Reuploaded and reinstalled 1.4.0 b2 and got blank pages...

I tried to uninstall, and... got the same blank page

After this I can see vbdownloads section in products.

It looks like your installation is completely hosed as you are missing phrases as well as templates.

Can you check your max_packet_size in MySQL to ensure it's set to 128M or higher?

No, you need to ensure it's set high enough that you can correctly import a product. It's plausible that, if it's set to 1M, that is the cause of your issues. I'm eliminating known possible causes before moving forward

16MB might be enough, depending on the amount of mods you have installed.
