Legacy Number of files in a Category

Hi

This is something that i think is necessary, i want thinking if you could add a number of files in a category, so people would know how many files is in there. and maybe, an option to see the latest upload to that category.

this is what I mean, in the Main page, it should only show a total number like (25) under the description above the "sub-categories". but when you go into "subcategories" there is a place where there is "category name" and "category description". now 2 more things should be added there. "number of files in this category" and "lastest file uploaded". practically i mean 2 more columns.

Thanks alot. i really hope this gets considered cause i think is a very important issue. not essential, but important. to keep things more organized and under control.

You should really reconsider How many different users must you give reputation to before you can hit the same person again, because i wanna give you more reputation and it wont let me (-_-)

Thanks alot, and I mean ALOT. I know under consideration would mean not for sure, but as long as you dont rejected it on sight, means you are a respectable person.

btw. how many of the under consideration suggestions usually get accepted from time to time (in between dev times), give me a rough guess in percentage ? 40% ? 50% ? 60% ??!!! (>_<)

It depends on a few factors which are:

1) Rough time the suggestion would take as a %age of how much time is scheduled for the upgrade
2) How many people will benefit from the suggestion/Will the suggestion be unwanted by some users.
3) Will it contribute to the upgrade type? (e.g would it be significant for a major/moderate/minor number change)
4) How long ago was it requested. (if 2 features are equal with other criteria the one requested first gets priority)

Our last update was vBShout, it was a moderate size update (5.X.0) and we added 80% of all requested features marked for consideration.
Advanced post thanks/like was a minor update and we added 50% of all requested features marked for consideration.
vBShop is currently in the middle of a major update and we anticipate hitting 70-90% of all requested features marked for consideration.

Even if a feature doesn't make it into the next version of the mod, it's still carried over for consideration in future updates.
