This issue is really really weird and i think its only due to something in the database, this is because a clean site will install it but the database my testsite is on with previous users and plugins will not install any DBTECH product, this includes vbshout, vBshop, vB Likes/Thanks, All the big plugins that are notusing just a couple of files. This is the lite version by the way and im sure the pro version will just do the same.
What basically happens is whenever i install the shoutbox it will get frozed on finalizing install....... after i click off due to it taking ages to finalize which it didnt after like 20mins i can see the product has installed and its infact working but i cannot edit any settings, if i go to the options in admincp it is empty, alll the options are empty and i cannot change instance, settings, users who can view it and every thing to do with the shoutbox for the matter. Please respond if you have even encountered this, im sure its to do with something in the database but not sure what.
