turning sound on makes lag when logging the chat from the box and the forums same happens in this forum

Could you clarify what you mean by "lag when logging the chat" please? I don't quite understand (sorry)

when you have sounds on like you do on these forums it makes lag
turning them off removes the lag like the way i have

It may be a browser issue or a QuickTime Plugin issue, make sure they are all up to date, or try another browser like FireFox

i have tried alot of things still the same when i turn off the sounds of on my website no more lag
