Legacy Selling of real world items

I've requested this for SOOOO long and it was promised to be in the next version.

I need the ability to sell real-world products using vbshop. Not difficult to implement by just allowing us to create custom fields for buyers to complete like shipping address.

When will the next version be released???

There's no specific word on when the next version will be released, keep in mind that we have about half a dozen products that are all screaming for updates - as well as new ones being released

Just as a side note, selling of real world items has never been promised.

We have always maintained the position that vbshop is not intended to be used as a cart.

The next version will allow the administrator to set custom items which when used with vBCredits II Deluxe (and it's purchase points via paypal facility) could be set up to deal with real world items at the admins discretion. vBShop was not and will not be designed as a real-world cart system.

Just clarifying for anyone else who might read the thread - from your first post it looks like you are already aware this is the plan ^.^

vBShop is in the top 2 of products to be updated next and this feature is at the top of the list to go in

There has been no new version of vBShop released thus far, our focus at the moment is a minor bugfix / code update release for vBActivity that will enable us to release Post Thanks / Like gold

Fillip H. is in the process of moving home (and country), but vBShop will be the first update he works on =)
