Hello Fillip H.,
(Really not a big deal, but thought to mention it, & ask your thoughts.)
(And didn't knew to make it as a "feature request" or a "bug report"...)
Just before I launched my site, I've read a post on vbulletin.com about how to make your vbulletin a little bit more secure...
One of the things was to "protect" your install folder. What I've done via the "cPanel's htaccess protection" (or via the "Password protect this directory" in the cPanel), with the result it created a ".htaccess" in the install folder...
Now when I click on the "Security Recommendations", it now shows:
Which I kind of find weird/strange if it's there to protect that folder...
So, can you make it so that in a future release it is accepted (& not recommended to delete that file from the install directory)?
What do you think about this, or what is your opinion about this?
Friendly greetings,
Valcav
