Hey all. Thanks for making this awesome add-on for vB :).

Just have a couple of issues, to which I would appreciate any help on.

Here's my first issue:

You see the box when I click on a user? It's waaaay down. Is there anyhow I can bring it up?

Here's my second issue with chrome:

You see the 'play' button there? Well as soon as I open the forum main page, it plays the 'pop.mp3' twice and then there are no more 'pop' sounds for the messages. The same works great on firefox. Kinda weird. Also, the scrolling bar that' to the right, goes completely black for some reason. I have to disable sounds if I want it to work correctly on chrome. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Any input would be highly appreciated :).

Thank you,

GMan

This is a bug in Chrome's implementation of the <embed> tag.

Problem is Chrome assumes the entire internet is using a HTML5 capable browser.

Try using FireFox5 or IE9 those seem the best for displaying.

Ok, thanks. I guess I'll have to ask my members to switch browsers as chrome doesn't work well.

Back to the first problem, I made a mistake. I do have the style set to default. So, the issue does occur with my default style.

I tried that and the problem still persists. The issue was there even with the lite version, when I tried it and that was before I ha the donation plug-in.

Thanks.

Strange I have not see that before, did you customize any of the DBTech - vBShout Templates?

Nope. Well, I added a line on top of the vbshout, but the problem was there even before I put that in. It's weird, eh?

Well maybe Fillip H. has a idea then, he will answer as soon as he has a moment.

That's an issue that can happen on some custom skins for reasons I have not been able to determine. I've also been unable to fix it, in spite of trying for pretty much every update of vBShout.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like it'll be fixed any time soon :(

Thank you for trying. Isn't the pop-up box defined in the script? Just wondering if it is customizable such that one can move the box placement within the script, or that is defined in other vb scripts and you just have the links there (like the ban, unban, silence... etc)?

Thank you. I guess I'll have to wait until the issue is fixed and cross my fingers in hope that it will be done soon some day. I wish I hadn't used the custom skin now... oh well.

In order to get it to position itself to the mouse cursor, we use YUI APIs to determine the mouse location. Somehow, the custom skins manage to change the workings of the page in a way that causes those APIs to return incorrect values.

What's worse, the difference between the "true" and "incorrect" positions aren't a fixed value, so it's not like I can account for it manually either...
