Bug laggy shoutbox

last night and all day today my shoutbox has been very laggy, not sure why but I have disabled most functions and it is still really laggy,

is there anything known?

or can i pay you to come fix it?

Hmm, is the specifications of your server? Is it shared,VPS or dedicated?

What is your idle timeout set to?

What is this set to, (Pro) Auto-Delete Shouts Enter how long (in hours) before shouts are automatically deleted.

Do you have the shoutbox turned on for guests?

What is your refresh rate set to?

Try disabling other mods 1 at a time, then test shouts, and see if one of them is conflicting with the shout, I have seen this happen quite often.

It's likely just a case of having the options configured in a way your server is unable to handle =)

If you can give us that info we should be able to give you some settings to try changing to resolve it.

I'll start turning things off a little later tonight but with the above info is there anything i should do?

Try disabling the sounds and see if that helps, some sites have done this and it did help.

yeah the sounds i have turned off just this afternoon with a little change but still not great...later tonight i'll start turning off functions and see if that helps....i'll report back

do you know of any plugins that have a hard time meshing?

Not off the top of my head, no.

for me it was a combo, vbplaza and vbulletin entertainment

seems to be working so far will report back if i notice something else
