Question DBSEO Performance Impacts

I have been running DBSEO for a couple of years now and am currently looking at performance as a key aspect of SEO. As I've been investigating this, I've been able to determine DBSEO adds a fair amount to page load time - perhaps a second per page on average. Is there a way this can be tuned to reduce the level of performance impact? Would VB Optimise help? If so how much?

vB Optimise won't help DBSEO, but you can use one of vBulletin's available datastore classes (other than Filecache) and that will help
