Hi Deceptor,

My website uses vBulletin CMS. The cms page use nearly 200 queries each request. Although vB Optimise have guest cache for CMS but I it should also add CMS cache for logged in users (cache for 10s, 20s, 30s, cache all except memberinfo). This will save a lot of queries to DB and CPU resources.

Thank you.

Hey dihuta,

The vB CMS does use a Cache System and we tie into this to use Memcache/Xcache/etc.. with the "vB Overload Cache" feature within vB Optimise - this will greatly reduce queries. We cannot unfortunately cache the entire page because each user has different permissions so the cache wouldn't be shared and as a result both inaffective and space consuming (cache size would grow insanely fast).

I will spend more time reviewing the CMS system to see if there's anything more than can be done - so far however it's a little light on hook placements which makes modifications somewhat limited.
