Question Changing points settings

And another quick question. Sorry about that but your mod is so complex it is not always easy to figure out things.

I just did a fresh calculation for points from day one we started our forum in 2006.
I had the following settings:
Points for threads: 5
Points for postings: 2

From now on I want to change
points for threads to 10
points for postings to 5

When I save those new points settings is this mod going to assign the NEW points settings only from today on or will it recalculate also the points given in the past with the new points settings?

I think you can do it from : DBTech - vBActivity > Maintenance > Recalculate Points

Please Note : Recalculate Points process complete take to long time, If it large board.

It will only assign the new points setting from today onwards, unless you do the re-calculation Nirjonadda pointed you to
