Question How to set event to trigger only once?

I often set up Post event triggers in my forum for specific threads where I want the event to trigger only one time. However, no matter what settings I try in the event settings, the event is triggered over and over every time a user posts in the thread. How can I configure the event settings to only trigger one time?
