Legacy Able to add feature to import mail list, and/or control via group membership?

This was previously mentioned on the comments thread over at vBulletin.org for vbmail

Would you please consider adding the ability to import an email list from vbulletin, or to allow sending mainlist via group membership. (Members would still have ability to opt out of list)
