Is the notifications of thanks/likes on this forum have the ability to switch on/off? If so where is it? As I cant find it in my ACP.

And

Creating new buttons :- the image used for buttons has to equal the varname?

Not currently, no. To globally disable it you can disable the notifications_list plugin, there will be a per-user option in a future version.

Excellent, I'll look into how the members fair with the thanks/likes showing up on notifications to see whether to disable the plug in.

Were you able to look at the functionality of removing/disabling banned users thanks/likes from showing up in posts too?
