what to do with the lite after installing pro

Hi there,

I purchased the pro version yesterday but if you don't have the lite version installed it's a pain getting it to work without an installation guide.

I found out I first needed to install the lite version so I uploaded all files from the lite version to my server, then installed, uploaded the files from the pro version and installed it. but I'm not sure what to do with the lite version.

Can I remove it or should I consider the pro version an upgrade which adds functionality to the lite version?

You have to have the Lite version installed to be able to use the Pro version. The Pro version is an addon to the Lite version. You can use Lite without Pro, but you can't use Pro without Lite.

Ernest is correct - it was a design decision made in order to make it easier for me as a developer to separate the two versions.
In the future I'm looking to change this, though.
