Question What Quick Time plugin is firefox looking for?

Unfortunately Firefox on Macs have had this problem since FF3, and there appears to be no resolution in sight.

In future versions we hope to move away from QT, but we need to wait for HTML5 to mature some more - thus far, too large a percentage of the web still run browsers that cannot use HTML5.

Not very familiar with this, but could you possibly support both via an if statement? Maybe consider disabling the sound/removing that warning that members are getting. Members getting this pop up is a pretty big deal in my opinion. If you can't "fix" it, perhaps disable it using if statements so that the members aren't getting a frustrating popup with apparently no plugin that will fix the issue.

I'd really appreciate a work around or something for this issue sooner than later.... Thanks.

I don't think an if condition is possible, because it would require OS and browser checks, which aren't possible in the template system AFAIK.
