Can you try manually adding the sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools via their site and see if that resolves it for you?

Where is the sitemap?

You should use the path forum/dbseositemap.php when submitting to GWT I believe, as paths are relevant to your domain root.

Pending on GWT.

Should I remove the old sitemaps that were built with vbseo sitemap generator on GWT or just leave them.
