vBShop Question

Im looking at installing vBShop onto my site but before I do just want to ask a question.

Im looking to use it for custom items that members can use when they play online games. Different teams etc.

Is the mod just a straight buyout feature for a product or does it have a system much like ebay where it can also be used as an auction or something similar?
